Therefore, in the case of a dietary supplement or sports nutrition product, not only the ingredients matter, but also the purity of the raw materials used, the manufacturing environment, laboratory testing, and complete traceability.
Hammer Nutrition has been manufacturing sports nutrition products and dietary supplements since 1987. From the beginning, the goal of its quality control system has been the same: consistent monitoring of the purity, quality, and composition of the products.
Based on our direct consultation with the research and development department at Hammer Nutrition's US headquarters, the answer is clear: the formulas of Hammer Nutrition products do not contain any banned substances listed on the current WADA prohibited list.
At the same time, the company does not rely solely on the careful selection of ingredients. Hammer Nutrition tests every raw material and finished product through a multi-stage quality control system to minimize the risk of contamination.
The WADA prohibited list is updated annually, so competitive athletes must always take the currently applicable regulations into account.

In recent years, however, the Informed Sport logo itself has gained significant marketing value. Because of this, the false impression can easily arise that only products bearing the Informed Sport logo can be considered safe in terms of banned substances.
It is important to understand, however, that Informed Sport certification verifies participation in a specific, independent product-level testing program. The absence of the logo does not in itself prove anything about a product's purity or banned substance content.
Hammer Nutrition previously had a significant portion of its sports nutrition products and dietary supplements tested through the Informed Sport program. Continuous, product-level certification of the entire product range would mean hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional annual costs, which the company did not wish to pass on to either its commercial partners or its customers.

Informed Sport is an excellent and internationally recognized certification system that can be an important aid for athletes. However, a product's safety is not determined solely by a logo, but by the entire quality assurance system behind it.

CBD (cannabidiol) itself is not on the WADA list of prohibited substances.
However, THC and certain other cannabinoids remain prohibited during the competition period, which is why it is critically important for a CBD product to be certified to contain 0% THC.
The use of 0% THC CBD does not in itself conflict with the WADA prohibited list. Nevertheless, every competitive athlete is advised to choose CBD products with a verified composition from a reliable manufacturer only.
As an athlete subject to doping control, it is completely understandable if you require more detailed information or documentation regarding a specific product.
