Bars

Which bar should you choose?

• Hammer Bar – a raw, whole-food energy bar made from organic, vegan ingredients, gluten- and dairy-free. Before training, during longer, easier-paced efforts and as a snack during the day.
• Vegan Protein Bar – a fully plant-based protein bar made with organic ingredients, for post-workout recovery. In chocolate hazelnut and almond cacao flavours.
• Whey Protein Bar – a recovery protein bar with whey protein isolate from grass-fed cows and milk protein isolate, gluten-free.

Energy bar or protein bar?

An energy bar mainly provides carbohydrates for topping up before training and for longer, lower-intensity efforts. A protein bar supports post-workout recovery and your daily protein intake. At race intensity, liquid fuel such as Hammer Gel or Perpetuem is easier to digest than solid food. On pre-workout nutrition: Hammer Guide 1 – Pre-Workout Fueling.
